It was the Monday after the i had returned to Hogwarts, I walked slowly down into the common room. They all stood there Remus, Sirius, James, Peter, Ebony, Lily and Jessica. They were waiting for me.
"Ven we're worried about you.We want you to come practise for the yule ball." Ebony sighed. "Look even Lils is going to."
I closed my eyes and shook my head. "Please Ebony I....I really don't want to..." I felt the tears in my eyes. "I just can't. He...he is dead...." I walked past them. 'It's my fault' I thought as i left the common room. To hear Xena's voice. "it's all your fault!" That was when I passed out.

When I woke up it was dark and Professor Dumbledore was stood at the end of my bed.
"Now Miss Night, I have been able to force six of your friends to leave but Mr Lupin did not think it was wise.." the Professor started "Now why is it all your fault?" He asked, as Remus sat up straighter.
"You really don't understand Professor." I sighed hurring on before he could protest. "My Father was murdered, I could have prevented it." I just had to add the next bit, the thruth for Remus. "You see sir it was a werewolf attack. My being a werewolf could have prevented this attack." Dumbledore knew I had stated that for Remus and not he so Dumbledore nodded and left.
"Your.......Your....a.....werewolf?" Remus asked turning pale as I nodded calmly "Do Ebony and the other two know?" Another nod. "But how could you tell them."
"Well Ebony worked it out for herself and so did Lily in first year but Jessica needed a little shove in the right direction." I sighed. "So when are you telling James and Sirius and the other one?" I asked him. Remus shook his head.
"I don't know I was hoping they would work it out to be honest." I smiled and then let out a yawn.
"Sleep."
"Okay Goodnight." I yawned again and added quietly. "I love you Remus John Lupin"
